Linking in PMWiki

Basic link format in pmwiki: [[link (URL)|show text]]. Double left brackets, the link, a vertical line, the text to show, double right brackets.

Comment: YES the links look identical. I assume the "|" and text after are what differentiates anchor from link to anchor ...
