Goal: See how addition and subtraction of positive and negative numbers works on the number line.
1. Click and drag scale button to get the desired scale on the numberline.
2. Determine 2 grid numbers that you will add or subtract.
3. Click and drag the Add or Subtract toggle to the desired operation.
4. Click and drag the top red arrow to the first number.
5. Click and drag the top blue arrow to the second number.
6. Write down the operation and the result.
7. Select the checkbox to check your result .

GeoGebra ? is freeware that can be used offline. After installing GeoGebra , go to the InterActivity and select command: File -> Save . If there is no command menu, just double-click on the InterActivity . It will open in a new window with command menu.
