Application
CrazyTalk for Skype
Briefly Uses Skype to show region, window or desktop of host to participants. All applications can be used by host. Can even show outside applications like Second Life.
Ratings (1-5)
Does what it says - 5 Cost-Benefit - 4 Overall - 4
Plus Does exactly what it says it will effectively. Nice that transmission can be restricted to region or window - both better for host (allows other applications to not be seen) and faster. One time purchase and not expensive. Easy to activate and easy to deactivate.
Minus Host must purchase program ($20), so problem for peer-to-peer.
Keywords desktop showing, skype
Comments CT allows a mix of audio between media and microphone (cool feature), but could not change default setting for mixing (set halfway) so must always remember to slide it to maximum
Other functions Can show avatar talking - (must purchase decent avatars separately)
Type Single Purchase - $20 for host only.

Yugma
Briefly Uses Skype to show desktop of host to participants.
Ratings (1-5)
Does what it says - 2 Cost-Benefit - 2 Overall - 2
Plus Basic program is free for showing desktop to 10 participants. Premium version is $10 per month and supposedly allows more participants and they can also use applications on desktop of host.
Minus Free version: so slow, we could not get it to load on several separate occasions with only host and one participant(maybe because it can only share whole desktop). Also, some internal running problems. Namely, to work you can only open one instance once; if you open another instance (e.g. you happen to open the website) it will start, but then jam when you try to participate.

Comments We couldn't get it to work. Supposedly it should be a free for desktop showing, which would be nice.
